MENTA: A Quality Analysis Approach for Self-Adapting Systems
نویسندگان
چکیده
Self-adaptive behavior is a feature which architects needs to include in their systems in order to improve its reliability. However, despite several ways to get it, it is still hard to implement a self-adaptive system focused on non-functional properties. Difficulties to express quality attributes in the system without combining business logic with the self-adaptation logic and to include new services on runtime are some of them. In this paper we propose a model-driven analysis approach to offer a mechanism which allow the desired quality requirements and adaptation strategies in a system to be expressed in a simple and non-intrusive manner and, to offer a code generation mechanism which takes the models created under the first objective and generates the necessary code for autonomously monitoring and adapting a SOA system.

متن کاملImproving the Resilience of Military Hospitals Through Self-Adaptation of Hospital Systems Using Organic Computing
Background and Aim: Among the failures of a disaster, the disruption of the critical infrastructure of the community causes the most damage to society. Therefore, the ability of critical infrastructure such as hospitals to anticipate, absorb, adapt or rapidly recover from a devastating event is essential. The purpose of this study is to design a self-adaptive model for resilient hospital system...
متن کاملSelf-similar solutions of the Riemann problem for two-dimensional systems of conservation laws
In this paper, a new approach is applied to study the self-similar solutions of 2×2 systems of nonlinear hyperbolic conservation laws. A notion of characteristic directions is introduced and then used to construct local and smooth solutions of the associated Riemann problem
متن کاملSolving the Dynamic Job Shop Scheduling Problem using Bottleneck and Intelligent Agents based on Genetic Algorithm
The problem of Dynamic Job Shop (DJS) scheduling is one of the most complex problems of machine scheduling. This problem is one of NP-Hard problems for solving which numerous heuristic and metaheuristic methods have so far been presented. Genetic Algorithms (GA) are one of these methods which are successfully applied to these problems. In these approaches, of course, better quality of solutions...
